Sneak peek to the new GDtool 3

The new GDtool 3 for upcoming VSD-XR will be 100% redesigned & rewritten from the earlier versions. Lots of user wishes are becoming true, such as:

• Operating & plotting while controlling drive from CNC etc
• Parameter names & meanings are simplified. We avoid putting parameters that are not obvious what they do.
• Help system will be better. The right side of window will display help & tutorial when not displaying plots.
• Connection robustness improved vastly

Tero will it only be usable w/ the XR or will it be backwards compatible w/ the VSD-XE etc?

It won't be at least initially compatible with E or A series. This is because XR will not have the SPI bus but RS485 bus for communication.
