unable to grease the z axis

there must be a lot of cnc machines not getting grease as I see i'm not the only person who cannot grease a bearing because the fitting is like nothing anyone has seen ,I have been told its a fitting to fit a regular gun like a needle with a 90 degree bend and you push the sharp end into the brass fitting and give it a shot, but where to get something like this.
The manufacturer (gorilla )that built my machine does not know how to grease it, amazing makes you wonder

    before buying general/gorilla cnc machine

make sure the manufacturer supplies you with the info or equipment fittings to grease the z axis .
i have been after gorilla for 7 months for assistance but its like talking to a wall ,now i find out that this is a overseas part SBG15SL-C bearing and they are referring me to overseas places to get the adapter ,then i'm not sure if it will work as the hole for the grease is small like a needle so its scarey to order.
Just make sure to ask before buying as documentation is very poor

after owning the machine for 14 months the manufacturer has sent me part #'s for grease and a fitting or pay them $250.00 for the fitting and some grease.Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
The grease fitting does not fit I wonder if GM could build a car and not know how to grease it.

    Question

    Woodman,

What grease fittings, are you sure GM still uses them?

    that was a poor example

these car companies have asked for there own problems ,i know many dedictaced gm and ford customer who after many years of being screwed around are now going elsewhere to purchase.
The trouble with cnc machines are the cheaper easily gotten ones available to small shop owners or small users are not holding up and possibly the people making them are not holding up too.
You don't see complaints on the big industrial machines

Just out of curiousity, is it possible to change the grease fitting to a standard type more availible here, some machines ( not cnc ) that i have worked on have grease fittings in areas not very accessible, so we install short hoses with grease fittings to make it alot easier.
I looked at Gorilla over a year ago when reseaching for a plasma table but went with a different company.

    Regards

    grease fittings

By all means change them out as these fittings are very hard to grease even with the silly fitting that is like a needle

Hi, I am in Winnipeg... i was refering to the grease fittings on your table if it was possible to change them over to standard types. I looked at Gorilla tables a year or so ago when researching cnc plasma, but i ended up buying a Dynatorch instead, so far its been great. I plan on building a router table in the future when i get more floor space, i have been checking around and the mechmate seems like a descent machine. I enjoy watching your vids and reading your posts.

    grease fittings

yes i am talking about the grease fittings on the z axis ,one could change them out and put some extensions on them ,thats actually a good idea. You made the right decision on your table selection ,thanks for the comments on the utubes.
i enjoy the cnc machine just wish there was better support ,documentation and update ionformation ,
But once you own one of these it starts to come together how things can be improved.
    Keep in touch
