master groove luminous barrier problem

Dear Sir:

I have master groove 2300 manafactured 1998 , i have a problem with the luminous barrier , they are not working , so the machine is not working, is there a way to disconnect them completely because i dont need them & i want to work with the machine without the luminous barrier.

Please inform
