Hello all, Thanks to all who helped me before in granite tool thread. i need some more abt routing non-metal. This time it NYLON. I know it can be routed like wood, with calculated speeds and feeds.but here the point is economy.with minimal material wastage,i should be able to route a 8x4 sheet(1'' thick).i can't go for 2 or 3mm end mills as they won't withstand high routing speeds. i had abrasive wire of hot wire cutting in mind.but will they work?as nylon metals to heat it will get clogged on wire. any advices and ideas will be much appreciated. Regards |

| yeh laser and waterjet. waterjet is costly and laser, iam bit afraid to go for it. as the machine will be handled by lame persons.i can't take any chances.still laser is last option for me. waterjet ... is good.but my budget is not up to it. |

| If you have cheap labor running the machine, then it'll make up for material waste from cutting tools.
