Hi, I am relatively new to stone but have a fair amount of wood machining experience and I am looking for the equivalent of a chipload calculation for cutting stone (marble, granite) with diamond tooling. More specifically I am interested in approximating our cutting parameters for 12" to 48" diamond abrasive saw blades and diamond abrasive router bits. Since you really are not making a chip I am not certain how you can approximate this. |
