Anyone know how to polish the acrylic or any machine can do that

HI all, i am Lim from Malaysia, currently i getting a project from my customer, and i am using CNC router to slit it into 2" x 52" part, and i need to do a polishing on 1 side. And the minimum requirement is "after polishing, it can not have any line or scratch on the site surface" i try to use diamond edge polishing machine, but got a line on the surface, any one know which type machine can do it ?

I'm not very experienced in such things, but have you tried using a heatgun or a flame? When I mill clear acrylic I use a butane gas torch on the edge to return the milled surface to an almost glass like finish. Be careful not to set the acrylic alight though...

I visited a company where all they did all day was fabricate parts from acrylic sheet. They used one of those jeweler's torches (with a hydrogen generator in it as the fuel source) to polish the cut edges.

They cut the sheet with a fine toothed carbide table saw for straight cuts or a cnc for nonlinear shapes and flame polished the edges. The results looked optically clear.
