Hi, first post. I'm looking for a templating material that can be cut to specific dimensions (say by waterjet) and then be mounted to an existing surface where a variety of hole patterns need to be templated. The piece needs to be transparent to template the holes. Then the piece is to be used to transfer the holes on to the piece that is to be installed. The material needs to be flexible enough to mate to existing surfaces (non flat, slight bends and twists) but durable enough to withstand drilling thru (no cracking) and no creasing. There also needs to be some type of adhesive to stick to overhead or horizontal surfaces (I guess this could be seperate though).  |
