Is it possible to repair an oops in HDPE (fill a hole)? I had two mirror parts and when I created the gcode to machine them, I failed to correctly mirror four holes. Is it feasible to fill the extra holes in order to salvage the parts? Or, do I just need to machine new parts. If it is possible to fill the holes what would you use (turned HDPE rod, epoxy, ???)? Thanks in advance, Alan

| If there is a HDPE tank fabricator in your area they may be able to help by melting a small amount of HDPE welding rod into the hole for you. You would have to clean it up after the fact, but it would create a real bond. Not one you could machine a second time though. |
