Dealing with an oops in HDPE

Is it possible to repair an oops in HDPE (fill a hole)? I had two mirror parts and when I created the gcode to machine them, I failed to correctly mirror four holes. Is it feasible to fill the extra holes in order to salvage the parts? Or, do I just need to machine new parts.

If it is possible to fill the holes what would you use (turned HDPE rod, epoxy, ???)?

    Thanks in advance,
    Alan

Not advisable. Replace your divots in golf.....not HDPE!

I was afraid that was probably the answer.

I drilled the extra holes on the mill and the parts work fine. They just don't look good.

If there is a HDPE tank fabricator in your area they may be able to help by melting a small amount of HDPE welding rod into the hole for you. You would have to clean it up after the fact, but it would create a real bond. Not one you could machine a second time though.
