    Granite Shower Basin & Walls?

    Hello everyone-
My CNC hobby has to be put on hold for a while during an addition I'm designing and building is in process.
I was wondering if there are any people who cut granite shower basins (carved into the stone sloping towards the drain) and segments to cover the walls in the New England area?

If so, how much does this process cost, and what are the practical sizes that you work with for this type of project?

    Thanks-
    NEATman

    Mark-
THanks for the reply - I was wondering if this was commonly done. The shower that I'm planning is on the larger side, a walk-in style. How large of a single piece basin is practical so I can design the shower around that? Have you also done matching material in panels for the walls? I'd prefer not to do small tiles, as the grout will take too much time to clean!

    Thanks-
    Keith

should be fairly common these days to make a try but be ware of 2D shapes . the only 2 limits are size of stone and the area the you can cut, we can cut in somthing like 3100x 2000x 600 so the stone is our limit.

can also stick sections together and if you have a good resin the joints will be good for years, we are able to bond up very large things to save weight and so that book matching adds to the patten etc
