First one I've ever made- s only small, but I've found a 100mm thick ally cube which I've got my beady eye on next

| Hehe the boss is gonna take it to an exhibition with him as a show-off piece... he can't figure out how I made it, I seen him in the office yesterday staring at it and scratching his head lol and I aint saying Now... what can I do with this....

| Update: I decided to apply a tint to the cube (like what you get on sunglasses). I was going to go for blue or green, but decided on a light grey colour... makes it look more serious Argh,.. attachements messed up.. prolly me and the chemicals lol... hang on

| Incidentally, the dimensions I used are as follows (I got them off a chap on this site, so thank you v much! they worked perfectly). Bore= 85% of cube 1 size. Depth= 15% of cube 1 size. Cube 2 = Cube 1-(Depth x 2).

| Is it just me or is it a square block with two different diameter counter bores on each face? You boss cant figure that out?

| We titnt prescription glasses (spectacles) in all colours. I just asked one of the guys to put it through the tint bath- took about 15 mins.
