Was having a clearout today and found some old parts I made (I always make more than I need) and before I bin them thought I'd post a piccy of them. I remember every bloody finicky mathematical problem with each and every one of them, but still feel a strange sense of loss at sticking em in the bin. Materials are various polymers (plastics) of differing refractive index. ![]()

| Yes, sometimes you just don't want to get rid of them. When I switched to CNC from doing everything on manual machines with jigs and fixtures I threw out three 45 gallon drums full of the old drill jigs and things. Sometimes I wish I had kept a few examples.
