| Hello, I am running a CMS Bremmbana Maxima CNC machine for stone (granite) and am looking for some insight into other user's opinions on tooling. Specifically rubber polishing wheels - we have been and are currently using resin polishing wheels (some ADI tools and others mfg by Diamut). I would appreciate anyone who could offer some insight as to their experiences using rubber polishing tooling. Does it produce the same or similar shine on the milled edge as resin? What type of useful life can I expect from the tools? Are there any manufacturers you would recommend? I welcome any other related information as well. Thank you for you time. |

| We've been using ADI resins for 8 months now. I've had to replace only a few. Getting over 1000m on each on average. I tried a few rubber wheels and when not set up right, burned them. I burned about 5 before I got it working right. I find with the rubber, the lines are much more noticeable. For instance, If I run a Z profile over it and polish it, I will still get my guys to touch it up... so why bother. Just let them polish it. If you want to trade more info, contact me. |
