Recess drainers in granite on a bavalloni egar 315N

Anyone got there heads around creating a program for soft granites to begin with i have done countless recesses on soft and hard granite but have always had problems with a very faint margin ripple which would only show its self on part of the back path and always on the right side of the recess, the rest of the recess would be fine.So i would have to go back into the program and start altering numbers of passes and feed speeds for the pocket and the flattening .The ripple is so slight that you only notice it when the final polishing heads have done there work.this would happen on nearly every recess so its not like you have found the problem altered the program so it would not happen again.I also spoke to a guy from Glaston glass i think Bavalloni uk are known as now and he said its something we will have to put up with. And another time they said we were the only ones having problems with recess drainers,i think it might have something to do with the training given or lack of it.When i was trained lol the guy basically took a day to set the tools up and the following day he ran a program on a 400x400 recess, which is fine because you won't get the ripple problem with a recess that small.I will try and discribe the problem a bit better ,i know what the problem is there is a very slight difference in height between the pocket ie border and the flattening ie middle but i have tried all what they suggest ie number of passes ,feed rates, removals but without any joy .
Can anyone give me a clue please before this does my nut in basically it is not a flattening mark but a ripple which is in a line where i have said

I TOO HAD THIS PROBLEM AND FOUND IT WAS THE GRINDING OF THE POCKET. MAKE SURE THE GRINDING WHEEL IS FLAT AND NOT POINTED AND RUN A COUPLE OF TIMES AS THE FLEX IN THE STONE CAN VARY THICKNESS BY A FANNY HAIR. ONCE I REALISED THIS, I KEPT A SECOND GRINDING WHEEL FOR TAKING .1 OFF ONLY AND DIDNT USE IT FOR ANYTHING ELSE

HOPE THIS WORKS FOR YOU
