Hi
I am cutting 1mm Lexan plastic and the type of cut I am doing is difficult to clamp, I cannot use tapes or adhesives since the lexan is going to be used as a windows in some equipment so I dont want to add the time of cleaning off any glue residue.
So I clamp the material with a wood frame. Now when I use a single flute up cut end mill the material is lifted.
My question is, can I switch to a down cut bit which should push the material down or will I get into big trouble with the cuttings having no where to go?
Thanks |
