45 Degree Chamfer (9mm Plexi/Acrylic) on CNC-Router

Hi,

Would appreciate if anyone can please point me in the right direction....

I have a 9mm plexi/acrylic product onto which I want to Chamfer a 45degree on the outside edge. The chamfer should be from top of the stock to the bottom so it is more or less 13mm tooling/cutting distance. I can do it with a ballnose with small passes but it takes way too long.

My Question: Anyone know of a 45 degree endmill that I can use to do this? I don't mind to do a few passes to get right down but with the ballnose it is about 50 passes to get the chamfer smooth and takes very long.

Any store that sells endmills should have a 45 degerre chamfer mill.
Just make sure its long enough.
Cutting should be way faster than with the ball endmill.

shows 4 cutters, shanks of Ø12 or Ø16mm ap 10 or 16mm ( 10 is just bigger than your thickness )


Problem may be that you cannot hold those larger sizes

Can you hold the material at 45° and use a flat cutter ?
