I am trying to program R. R. Moore fatigue test specimens on my Hardinge SV150 CNC Lathe. The roughing passes go fine, but the contour passes are incomplete, skipping over my initial straight section and starting the contour in the profile section. Doesn't matter where I put the contour start point, the result is always the same. Can anybody tell me what I have done wrong? Thanks in advance! |

| I'm no Gibbs Geometry expert, but the fact that that sketch segment is red even though it is not selected bugged me. I right clicked it and selected Change Feature from "AIR" to "WALL" and it turned blue like the rest of the geometry. Redid the contour Op and it cut as you intended. |

Maybe not, pdoherty, but you had the knowledge I needed! THANK YOU! Now I can post it, proof it, and get on with the show. I really appreciate your help. |
