Tabs For Parts

I want to create tabs to hold parts from coming loose when cutting out contour. I've drawn up tab pieces, but contouring goes around these too...I want it to step over these pieces....

and...if there is an easier way to put tabs on parts like a click and place, I would like to know

Talking

Ah man, I think I did it!
Drew up tabs as a separate entity(I was drawing it up as solid objects)
Switched to Constraints in the Machining Dialog and click on the tabs...then switched back to part selection
Clicked on the part itself....then Do It
I'm cutting the part out of stock material that is much thicker than the part so the leadin/out can't travel beyond the part parameter...so I reduced the leadin/out to zero and made sure the z steps area had the Retracts checked to step over tab constraint areas
It travels around the part, retracting at the tabs

If there is an easier way, I would love to hear it....not being sarcastic
