What software is the best for converting image files (jpeg, tiff, etc) to dxf files to import into Gibbs, for engraving on our 3 axis vertical mill. I've just downladed the trial version of scan2cad and it works, but I have not figured everything out yet. Any suggestions or comments. |

| If scan2cad works then just keep practicing with it. There are lots of raster to vector programs out there, and most are not that good. Keep in mind that the sharper and more defined the image is, the better your results will be. |

| I've used Adobe Streamline for years - pretty good but... Lately I've been using Vectormagic.com - they have a online application(which is what I use) and a desktop application. Most images are "1-click" easy conversion with very good result. Have a look. |
