Hi jas6141
The c axes is the spindle this is were your tool is (if you are on a mill) what axes is your work on what ever your work axes is will be your set up axes Do you have the rotary mill module because you can't do this in Gibbs without it
I need help milling a linear screw in gibbs I have the solid but with the geometry I can't get it to cut right. It's basically just an endmill pass starting at B0 and rotating 1.2 pitch for 19 inches. seems easy, but I can't get. any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

This is on a lathe. I have done race tracks around parts on the c axis but I cannot get it to follow this thread around the outside diameter.
Dont nonw if you have the "rotary rough" plugin. And even if you do, it may not work using live tool lathe MDD. But it may be worth a shot. You will need to use the model for this plugin to work.
Thanks guys, I figured it out. I just had to draw the geometry for the center of the lead .
