Hi, When I do a roughing turn, I select "Break corners" option, but I just realized that in program it puts a radius instead of chamfer. My questions are: 1. How can I get a chamfer instead of a radius? 2. When I select not to have corners broken , I still get that radius in the program (although the tool does not cut a radius, the value of the insert's radius is written) How can I get rid of this radius in the program? Thank you |

| I believe you would have to draw the chamfers in to get that result. Thats what I have been doing in lathe and mill. I have noticed an interpolated move in the program on a sharp corner before, this usually leaves the edge burr free with no noticable radius. This is more of a tool nose radius compensation move (lathe) it would seem. |
