About LinkBacksI want to make in internal groove for a thread recess, but I do not know how to select the proper tool... If I go with a grooving insert, does not give me the option of choosing a holder for ID. I know there should be an option but I can't find it

why not just use your threading tool if it's a single point and cut your relief using that? I do it all the time when I manually cut threads...
Milling or lathe?
