2 gibbs questions

i am in gibbs 2005..

1) How exactly do i make a surfacing toolpath which creates concentric circles from the inside or outside of the stock? Ive read some posts and the help file which both describe creating 2d geometry to define something or other, however my attempts all fail.

2) how do i make the bit stop retracting slowly and going to the z top when moving over areas it has allready machined?

Thanks, also if anyone knows any good tutorials or other gibbs resources worth recomending...

HARK! i should have just ignored the presence of a bulletin board full of fellow users, and paid someone to explain this archaic mess! i mean.. it makes perfect sense to have spent an hour searching for how to 'extract geometry from solids' in the 'workgroup' tool panel to make a hole pattern.. yeah. perfect sense.. it is also nice to know the post processor is a 'plugin', not partof the 'process' drop down menu... i also like how it dosent remember tool panel locations, and the only way to know it did something is to listen for a system beep.
