I need help with keyways!

Hi,
Can someone tell me how to get Gibbs to cut a keyway. The part is a shaft end (solid model)and I am running it in a turning center with live tools. I sent the solid to Gibbs tech support and he sent it back running the key but I've sent 3 e-mails requesting info how to do it! I extracted the geometry but when render it the endmill slices across the whole top of the solid. I noticed that the Gibbs rep extracted the Geometry (his lines are blue and are 90deg from the actual key in the solid) My lines are pink and highlight the actual keyway in the solid! I would appreciate any help someone might offer!

If th lines arent blue your in a different plane than the geometry
