Setup sheet in Gibbs cam

I would like to be able to have my tool list and a picture of the part with some added text. What I would like to to do is have it put on 1 page of a pdf, so each time the job is run the setup notes can be printed with 1 click. I printed the tool list ,put the paper back in, and printed the picture with notes, then scanned it all to pdf. This works but is there a way to say take a screen shot and put that in a pdf? or is there a beter way for setup sheets? I dont really care for the reports from gibbs.

Thanks, binzer

There is a way to make setup sheets using Microsoft Excel. You'll have to read through the manuals to understand it better. Basically Gibbs has a number of 'variables' that you can export to specific cells in Microsoft excel.

If you go to Plugins -> Reporter 97, 2000, or XP there are a few that come with Gibbs that you can check out.

You can pretty much create any kind of setup sheet you want or modify any of the existing ones in Gibbs. Gibbs uses Excel. There are instructions in help and I think there is a tutorial too. To save them as a PDF all you need is a PDF creation application on your computer (I use CutePDF, cheap) and print the setup sheet to your PDF application. No need to save screenshots.
