So why does my CRC Type keep changing It was always on tool center but lately it keeps changing over to tool edge? I change it back and it works for a few programs then its right back to the tool edge?

    Crc

What probably is happening is if you open and save a file that has the preferences set one way it will stick that way for new files you create, pain in the kaboos! Same thing happens when you open a file that someone created with crc off, save it, and then create a new one, that new one will have that off also. Unfortunately, working in a company, where you might have to modify someone elses files, alot of their settings now become yours.
