ok so i have a 5 axis post that was provided to me by gibbscam when i purchased the seat in 2012. the post functions ok but i don't like how jumbled the header and footer are for each tool operation that it spits out. also, i don't like how it spits out i's and j's for corner radii. i want to modify my post to use r's instead
here are the specs.
i'm running gibbscam 2013 posted out to a HAAS vf3, vf4, vf6. all with 12,000 rpm spindles.
the posthaste that gibbscam provides can only be used for standard 3 axis post mods, can someone direct me to a program i can use to modify my post to my liking.
If you are on maintenance, then most small changes Gibbs will do for free, the software for changing the Post is not easy to get your hands on, those that do have software, will charge you more than Gibbs will
unfortunately we just dropped our maintenance package a few months ago. i did some more research last night and for posthaste that gibbs provides, you can upgrade that software for about $100 i think is what it was. and that would allow you to modify advanced PP. sound about right?
