Take the program into MS word or something like it, you can edit it there, you can also edit it in Gibbs as well, but have to know more about what Gibbs cam you have
I have GibbsCam 2010 v9.5.1 (32 - bit). I can do it through word but is time consuming, especially when gibbs will have the ability to do it. I think it might have something to do with what CS plane Im importing the new vnc file to but still unsure, it will bring over the new program and planes etc but i cant edit the machine data like the feeds speeds etc, the box won't show up on the editing panel on the left hand side to adjust those things
using the internal posting editor still requires me to edit the machining information manually, instead of changing speeds / feeds then posting it, i can alter the speeds/feeds/depth ofcut etc for the master program, but the maching of the program I imported can't be changed
TylerAccord
but the machining of the program I imported can't be changed
If the program you imported, is not one that is already in the Gibbs system, then no you will not be able to edit it, it's back to were we started, you will have to edit it in something like MS word
If the program was made in Gibbs & you open that program,(Your master Program) just change all your speeds & feeds Etc in each of the operation tiles & Repost it, that's the only way you can do what you want to do, without just doing a manual edit
You have to own it to be able to run it at home,or have the dongle,& license to run it, you could try YouTube to get some basic idea of how to use it, & ask some questions on here, there are lot's that use it & can help
Talk to your GibbsCAM reseller about getting a 30 day trial license for you to run at home.
It will work without a dongle and allow you to learn what you need.
He should know what options you have so you are working apples to apples.
