Error when using text option

I am running Virtual Gibbs and I am no longer able to use the text option. If I select the text option I get an error and the program closes...Any idea how I can fix this problem?

When do you get this error? opening, importing, or exporting a Point List file? and what is the error message?

When I open the worgroup and select the text tool, it loads for about 8 seconds and I get the Program Error

Vitual.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows
You will need to restart the program.

An error log is being created.

Looks like I might be talking about something else (opening/saving Point List files).
What exactly are you trying to do? other than the point list file option, I don't know what "text option" you are refering to.

When you double click on an operation, if it was created using geometry then the Workgroup where the geometry is in will become the current Workgroup.

He's probably using the Create Text geometry button... you know, for engraving and stuff.

He might have a font that gibbs doesn't like or too many fonts... best guess.

It was a combination of too many fonts. 1200+ fonts and the directory somehow reset itself. I use Gibbs for our cnc laser, so we do text cuts frequently, so I was having to use mspaint to do the text and exporting a dxf file from correltrace to get the font and spend some time cleaning up points...... But now it works great, thanks for the help guys
