Connecting Overlapping Geometry

Hello,

I'm trying to get something that looks like this:



So I drew two circles and connected the first point of intersection like this:



When I connect the second point of intersection, I get this:



Not what I'm looking for.

You need to reverse the direction of one of the circles. Select the large circle then Ctrl + T. If it isn't the large one, reverse the small one.

Turns out I need to reverse both.

I tried reversing the small one. It just seemed like the big one was gone. I didn't get that I was looking at a little arc of it left between the connected points.

Is it just me or does the arc seem clip to the wrong side 80% of the time? I think they need to reverse the algorithm then it will only be 20% of the time.
