Hello, I sliced a solid and tossed half in the body bag to play with some dimensioning. Now I can't select full circles, half of which lie on each of the slices. How do I unslice the 2 slices back into a single solid???? Thanks |

| I will say Solidsurfacer does take some getting used to. Basically the history tree keeps track of every boolean or translation you do to a solid. In the example above if you were to double-click on the solid just below the slice operation you would get the solid in the state it was in just before you sliced it. One tip that can make it easier and a little faster for the system, is to use the clear history function on a solid when you get it into final position/shape. You'll then only have one entry in the history and you could rename that if you want. The great thing about the history tree is you can go back and make changes or corrections with much less work by pulling a solid out of the tree and then re-doing the offending operation and rebuilding the current model. -Mike |
