    trying to learn this stuff.

I am using/learning gibbscam. I have a part imported (its a step file) I am trying to generate toolpath/g code. Everytime I do it does the tool path from the surface i select to the center of the part. I have pointed to the part it goes to. How do I make it stop a a specific depth? I am wanting the toolpath on the z to stop at the green. but it goes down futher.
    Here are some pictures.
