Need Help!- How to edit Gibbscam MTM post.

Hello everybody

I would like to be able to edit my Gibbscam MTM postprocessor, what sort of program shold i be able to use?

If I try to open/edit the PST file i Cimco for example i can't get Gibbscam to open det post file afterwards i get the error:

"The specified post file could not be found, no output will be generated"

I think that the problem is that Cimco saves the PST file in the wrong format.

Does anyone know what programme the developers use to make the PST files in??

It´s not big changes in the post i wish to make, just things like Max RPM i different gears and so on.

You need the Compost software from Gibbs. Contact Gibbs or your reseller.

And you also need the txt file. But is difficult change it. If you need changes the best could be that your reseller do the changes.

Since all MTM posts are necessarily "custom" GibbsCAM will stand by them and should alter them at N/C. They may squeak a bit if they are a couple of years old, but I would ask them. Otherwise, yes, you will need the .txt file which can be edited with any text editor. You will also need to purchase Compost, which I believe is around $3500 to be able to compile the .txt file, alter forms, etc. If you have both, I will take a whack at it since I modify all my own posts. However, since I have never seen a .txt file for an MTM post, I have no idea of how complex it really is.
