| I had that happen once. I spent hours drawing a part. Got it done and went to create a program just to get that error. Hours later I figured out I had drawn it up in Metric but used my Inch dimensions. It sure was a small part!!! |

| usually you get that error when doing stepover moves. you have to make the corner radius of the tool larger than your steppover tolerance. In the surface dialog box there should be a button labeled advanced settings. the tolerenc for cutting needs to be smaller that the corner raduis of you end mill. If your cutter radius is 0 then you will have to make it bigger.(even if your using one with a zero radius)
