Hi all, I'm new to Gibbs and still learning as I go. Yesterday I imported an IGES but it was face down in the coordiante system, how do I flip it over? I've used the 2-D rotate and translate to adjust position but never had to turn a part over, I know this is probably a simple question but I'm wasting time trying to figure it out. Thanks in advance! | Derekoflifer If your part is 2D then just Modify,Duplicate Mirror or just Mirror give it a X value this will give you a mirror of what you have now,You can then delete the one you don't want, & shinkwrap the new one. You can always go Ctrl Z to undo what you have done if it is not right, If it is a trick part, & 3D I would go & do another IGES file of the right face, I don't have Gibbs in 3D so can't help you with fliping a 3D part

Good way is select one face and right key choice "Align Face to CS". More GibbsCAM Training Materials: http://jeffcnc.spaces.live.com/ |
