Problem- G75 canned turning cycle

Does Gibbs support this at all? I wasn't sure if it is a post issue or a software issue.

G75 should be Grooving in X-Axis, see G-Codes - Turning:

What brand of machine do you run? For most lathes, G71 is R turning and G72 is R facing. G70 is the finish lap cycle.

G75 is OD/ID peck grooving on most Fanuc controls, like mentioned above.

I asked because on a Miyano, Mazak, Mori Seiki, Haas and several others, G71, G72, and G70 are all turning related cycles. The thread topic is "Problem- G75 canned turning cycle". Race8082 is either running a machine in which the canned cycle is different, or Race8082 is using the wrong canned application.

G75 is a canned turning cycle. He didn't say he has a canned cycle problem, just whether his post supports the G75 canned cycle.

Race8082 - I don't have the lathe option, but the lathe documentation notes you need to turn off Auto Clearance and enter fixed X & Z clearances in the Documentation Dialog to output canned cycles. If you still have issues, post a program with comments turned on, mark it up and e-mail it to the post dept at Gibbs. I always get my modified posts back the next day, sometimes the same day.
