Thumbs up Optimal CNC for industrial plasma tables

    Hi All!
My name Sergey and I'm from Russia.
We try to produce indusrial CNC tables (for selling), and try to search preferable CNC system for this purpose.
We know Promotions, HYPERTHERM, Lynatrol, and BURNY.
Could you advice us your vision of this question, what is preferable. May be other trade marks or etc.
    We need system:
-for 1 torch tables, (maybe +1 oxy fuel torch)
    -For HF starting plasma systems
-minimal price (minimal possible price )
-CNC with ready for use NC software for plasma cutting

Thanks a lot for your help.

    building machines

    Sir,

Do you intend to construct the entire machine from the available steel, gas fittings, bearings, gear rack, etc etc in your country? Will your machines be for production (heavy duty) or for occasional use? I could email you pictures of machines that I designed, and from these you can get design ideas. Our machines were for industrial and light industrial use.

As to the plasma and gas and drive systems, likely you will be buying the plasma, gas torches, regulators etc. You can either buy the machine drives/controls, or do your own design if you have the knowledge. If you buy others systems, you will still have to handle the actual drive mounting, gear rack choosing, and other drive associated problems.

For CNC's, you can purchase a controller such as Burny or another. Or you can use a PC and purchase a controller software such as Mach3 or others. Using software and a PC is more economical, but will require that you have quite a bit of ability in the interfacing of it.

There's quite a bit to it; I spent several years in the business and we made machines from 3 ft x 3 ft up to 14 ft wide by very long.

If I can be of help, I'll try. More specific details about what you want to do are needed.

    Regards,
    Jack C.

    Hi Jack,
    Thanks for your answer.
    I try to explane,
-We have intesion to purchase CNC control and drive system abroad.
-Rails and mechanics we intend to buy in russia
-machine will for production cutting but not a lage size (for 1,5x3,0 m, and machine will work every day with heavy duty)
-We can make CNC in our company, but I think we should use full kit from company what have more experience in this than we have. But cover and softwere should have our trade mark...

If you can help us with your experience it will be nice.

My box is cncrezka at gmail dot com

    Regards, Sergey

The Optimal cnc control is the latest Hypertherm control....the Edge Pro. Check it out at the www,hypertherm.com website. This is the latest technology....is designed for use with high frequency start high definition class plasma systems. This unit supports Hypertherm's True Hole technology that allows for high tolerance hole cutting with no ding, divot or taper....similar to drilled or plate laser holes.....at the speed and operating cost of plasma.
