I have a xylotek 3 axis board and recently upgraded my machines table to plasma. I have installed a floating torch mount and went with a Hypertherm 600, a Campbell THC 300 THC and a PMD breakout board. I'm still trying to finalize setup after 3-4 weeks and am still working through a few bugs and problems regarding the THC. Unfortounately there isn't an option to just call Bob (or anyone else) and get real time support. You get "fair" support via email, but it's a bit frustrating asking 3-4 questons and getting partial answers to 1 or 2 of your issues. The answers usually raise new questions and the process continues. I guess it's just partly due to a lack of one-on-one real time support communication. There are some great folks at the plasma and sheetcam forums that will go out of their way to help and between them they should be able to walk you through most issues. The THC's instructions and setup guides are a bit outdated and lacking in continuity and specifics in my opinion, but the problems I have encountered my be unique to my setup (and Mach 2 setup issues). If you have any specific questions or want additional insight as to my experience with this setup, just ask. All in all I think (still, while crossing my fingers) it's the best value as far as a THC you can get for the $ and I'm keeping a positive outlook that I'll soon resolve any negative issues I'm currently dealing with.
    Best of luck,
    -Marc

I am going to build a plasma table and I am trying to decide on the driver. I talked to Bob and he was very helpful. He recommended the gecko drivers but it is a little to steep for my hobby machine. He did not mention any one else using something else. I am not a electrical engineer but I can read a wiring diagram I am wondering how hard is it going to be to figure out the wire up twith the xylotex and the breakout board and THC. From what I have read the Campbell THC is the best for the price. Currently I have a table that doesn't have the THC and sometimes it can be a buger. I know I will not build another one with out it. I noticed you said something about not being able to call Bob I emailed and ask for a number and he sent it to me I called and He was alot of help. Good Luck and thanks for the info. TXFatboy
