MasterCAM X-3 taper question

Hello all,

I teach machine shop and am using MasterCAM X-3 wire. When I try to show tapers the screen graphics are not right. (they were fine last Spring semester). I have tried everything I can think of with material thicknesses and taper values but the graphics are always doing the same thing. What shows is the wire stopping before it goes through the bottom of the part. (Have to use translucent stock to see what is going on)

The program was updated over the summer and my guess is that some parameter somewhere is not set right or maybe something changed with the graphic cards or settings.
