Dialer systems for Sodick

Hello, I am interested in a dialer system for my Sodick AQ750. To my understanding, a dialer system can be set up to call a phone number if something goofy goes wrong with the machine, correct? Any information would be appreciated.

if you have a newer AQ750L the dialer is not offered to the best of my memory. Some machines did have the option but most people install the lan card and setup the network so the user can look at the machine via internet. I have seen one company use the pinouts for the Lightbar option to setup there own dialer using a plc. Are you just wanting to know when the machine goes down or want an option to have the machine recover to the next part? If you want the option to recover and go to another part look at the M code M03. This code along with the proper parameter setting will do the latter without the need of a dialer.

We have an AQ550 machine. What we did was had an electronics shop make up a small relay board that closed a contact on the voltage from the machines buzzer. We then hooked this to a cheap door alarm from Radio Shack that has a phone dialer in it. Works great.
