I got a plunge EDM for free and am looking at hooking it up. It is a fair size unit but 600V 3 phase. I am not familiar with EDM but am an electrical guy. I was wondering if anyone can give me an idea of what kind of power I need to run. Can I convert it to run on a lower voltage? Do I need 3 phase or can I run on single? I do not have 600v 3 phase in my home shop.

There are a bunch of transformers in the cabinate that is why I am asking.
