The important thing is that your RS232 setting match the PC setting, do you have the parameter description for the 6?
P 024 & 025
You need a 3 wire cable as shown, ignore the 0 parameter settings.

Hello to eveyone,
i am really new to cnc machines and i have a elox-fanuc series n wire cut, i believe that the control is a 6M and i am haveing trouble with the machine communicating with the pc. i have gotten 3 trial postprocessors and none of them seem to be working. i am thinking that its the parimeters in the cnc that i need to change but i do not know what to change them to??? i also dont know what would happen if i changed them back to the parimeters that are in the manual??? Does any one have any suggestions that can be done?
Thanks!!!

P24bit 0 = 0/1 is 1 or 2 stop bits
P25 for 4800 baud = 11101111.
