RS232 communications on Mitsubishi FX EDM machine

Hi,

I hope someone can help me!

I am trying to receive files using the RS232 port of a Mitsubishi FX series Wire-EDM. I can send files from it to a pc with no problem. However, when I try to receive a file, I just get an E09 TIME OUT I/O ERROR

I have used both XON/XOFF, and CTS/RTS signalling. It will start correctly, but nothing transfers!

Any ideas?

I had a mits h series that did the same thing. Had to replace a board in
the control panel.
