hi there,
what are your edm settings,tension,wire diameter and material? i am no expert but i use a oc machine and do a keyway through 100mm toolsteel in 2 passes with .0003" deviation on overall width.

Hi, guys
We have a Robocut 1ia with Fanuc control and when I burn about a 2 inch thick detail I am getting a condition where the middle of the detail being about .0002 in. per side smaller than top and bottom. I do have a procedure for fixing the problem if using 4 passes but I am trying to do this part in 2 passes. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
