Hi All,
I am interested in this machine, FARLEY PLASMA / PROFILE CUTTING MACHINE, MANUFACTURE DATE 1987, 1500MM X 6000MM CUTTING TABLE, HYPERTHERM MAX 100D, HEIGHT SENSING AND GAS MIXING CONSOLE, that is up for auction at the moment, I am interested in feedback from anyone that may have used this type of machine so I can have an idea of how it performs, we would be cutting steel plate up to 12mm thick mainly.
regards,
Kevin

I wouldn't buy a Farley....have heard terrible things about the service...
The Farley machines are very well built machines.....from Australia. I would dare say that they are equivalent to high end Esab and MG and Koike Industrial grade machines for plasma and oxyfuel applications. Farley service is handled out of their Illinois offices....and John Johnson....one of the principals at Farley Illinois is a great guy.
these machines are big, heavy....and will last as long as a Bridgeport Milling machine if taken care of......they are by no means a "hobbyist" class cutting machine!
You may want to upgrade the plasma...the 100D is an oler technology system...
