Most waterjet table has little fixture. But when comes to cut tubing,
we may need something that can grab the two ends of the tubing and
rotate. Anyone know a good lead of that kind of robot hand? Thanks in advance.
Does it need tobe supoorted on both ends? Can you just install a rotary for the tube? What size tubing?
At my last job I retrofited ratary axis to a few different waterjet to cut tubing. Depending on what your are doing you may also have to protect the inside of the tube.
There are various request to cut tubing from 1/4" to 6". Some clients require
automatic loading, meaning the robotic hand will pick up the tubing from a
table next to the waterjet table, and move the tubing to the waterjet table.
While cutting, the robotic hand will rotate the tubing under the waterjet
stream. Could you share some of your experience about protecting the inner
side of the tubing? Thanks a lot.
