Hi. I have been considering building a brushless hub motor for a bicycle and pondering the option of cutting the motor stator laminations using a plasma cutter. (individually)
I have experiance of free hand plasma cutting only. Is anyone aware of any plasma tables that would have sufficient precision for this? i.e. well sub one millimeter of precision in steel that would be in the order of 0.5mm in thickness.
Perhaps plasma is not suitable for this precision at all. Let me know if you have any thoughts on this. Thanks!
James
