    5 Axis CNC Plasma/Router 12ft x 7ft

hi all. after about a year and a half of pouring through the forums here, i have decided to put all my notes together and start to build a computer-guided swiss army knife of a machine. i plan on making it to do plasma WELL as well as rout hard woods and maybe some light aluminum WELL. this thing is gonna be heavy to perform such tasks and very large. what i have modeled is the whole damb thing except electrical stuff. what i have included are harmonic drives, servos, steppers, and all i can think of to start planning or testing this thing in software. i appreciate all the work everyone has put out there to learn from, and plan to do some more learning as i go. the hardest thing so far was modeling everything in autocad, (im leaping to inventor after school is out) since the research has pretty much been done. stay tuned for more...
