    DIY magnetic torch holder

i'm interested to know if anyone has been tempted to make their own magnetic torch holder. From the designs i've seen its needs magnets to hold it and a small tapered recess to locate it.

I guess there needs to be some trial and error on both the magnetic hold and the tapered recess. try it and see if it works ...

I think I have seen home made ones here. Did you search?

I built two using 30mm square magswitches and some aluminum, they worked OK. I just did a major rerto-fit to our table and decided to use a snap 'n cut to save time. I wish I had done that a long time ago. It is simple and effective, it realigns perfectly. Comes from Oz but I had it fast. Cheap too for what you get.
