    need opinion on DTHC

Hi guys which one is better for THC is it CandCNC DTHC (Digital Torch Height Control) or Mach3 (CAP04)? I'm not sure wether they are using the same sensing technology.

    Thank you in advance

It looks to me like that CAP04 still needs a torch height controller to work, if I'm reading it right...it's just a switch, in essence. (maybe?)

The CandCNC DTHC is what I use, it works very well.

I use the LCTHC from candcnc and it works great. I've got many hours of cutting with it and the results are perfect and very consistent. It doesn't have all the features of their upper end equipment but it costs a lot less and is more than sufficient for quality cuts. Talk to Tom at Candcnc and he'll give you all the pros and cons.

Here is a link to a comparison/features chart

    http://www.candcnc.com/DTHCCompareChart.htm

One thing to note is the single cable connect to the Hyperthem 45/65/85 is only available on the DTHCII product.

The MP3000-DTHC is a advanced BoB with Port Expansaion plus the RTHC.

If you can fire the torch on air, then MP3000 DTHCII is compatible with it, you just need to buy a DCP ( digital current probe ) and a RAV01 voltage sensor.
