Update! Just had to replace the HP manifold on our Flow International Waterjet, anyone else had these problems?

So, at 1000 hrs. we are once again stopped. This time from an ill fitting filter cartridge. The response from Flow is that there is no vendor problem, yet with their standards we pump gallons of water out of the system. Oh, by the way, we've had seals on our high pressure gage blow for the second time, so I've had to run by ear and guess at the pressure.
    Anybody else having these problems?

You might want to try the waterjet yahoo group. It's pretty active.

Have you tried any third party parts to see if they last any longer?

Where are you located? If it is cold in the shop in winter after a shutdown, this can cause seals & other parts to fail prematurly as the pump builds heat too fast when the parts are cold. When you replace seals, fire up the pump & slowly build up pressure @ 15 minute intervals. Just a thought, Tom
